Children, teenagers and young adults seek support from Spectrum House in order to address concerns such as:
- Self-esteem and confidence building
- Sleeping difficulties
- Social challenges or differences
- Sibling support
- Parent coping skills
- And a variety of other mental health concerns
We use a combination of cognitive behavioural therapies, psycho-education and other evidence based interventions in order to support individuals and families. Many clients use their sessions to better understand their triggers, find strategies to use in their day-to-day lives and to create plans to assist them make the most out of life. We are person-centred and practical in our approach to support.
We also support parents to better understand their child and to support them to build a positive and meaningful relationship. Parent support sessions can be held in a number of ways. Please ask us for more information.
