Ellie is a Registered Psychologist who enjoys working with children and adolescents.
In 2014, Ellie completed her Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology)(Honours) at Deakin University. It is during this time that she developed an interest in behaviours whilst writing a thesis on Compulsive Buying Behaviours. Following her study, Ellie undertook Applied Behavioural Analysis training to further understand behaviour functions and their applicability to everyday life. She gained her registration through the Psychology Board of Australia by completing her internship, both at Spectrum House and working with adolescents at a high school.
In addition to working at Spectrum House, Ellie is also a Registered Psychologist in primary schools in the area. Professional areas of interest include, but are not limited to; behavioural and social challenges, anxiety, and emotional difficulties. Ellie prefers to take a relaxed, creative, and collaborative approach in assisting children and adolescents to understand and manage their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
